Leon Scott is a writer and comedian based in Washington, DC. His award-winning work with various humor blogs opened the door to opportunities to perform stand-up comedy and eventually led to a career writing for television.
For 6 years, Leon Scott wrote for WUSA9, launching two original shows, Open Mic with Reese Waters and Get Up DC, the latter of which earned him an Emmy nomination. He was selected as one of the inaugural participants in the Warner Bros Discovery Access Comedic Voices late-night writer’s program. Leon has also recorded two specials on streaming services, “District of Comedy” and “American Comic” on Amazon Prime.
